Eugenia Madrigal-Ruiz is a yoga instructor certified with Yoga Alliance, an internationally recognized association, with strict requirements for its affiliates. She has more than 7 years of experience and her principle mentor is Darren Main. Darren is internationally renown and the author of various publications (www.darrenmain.com).

Yoga for Life: A flow of yoga focused on balancing energy, breath work, and strength building.

Prenatal Flow: This slower flow of yoga is an opportunity for women to learn and achieve deep relaxation and learn breathing techniques that will help her feel more prepared, relaxed, and positive at the time of birth. Other benefits include strengthening and opening pelvic area while alleviating discomforts associated with the ever-changing body of the pregnant woman such as, back pain, cramps, and sleeping problems.

Massage:


Victoria Schwarz has been developing her unique style of massage for more than 15 years. She is a certified massage therapist, hypno-therapist, and REIKI Master. Her technique begins with discussing with the client any special needs or desires for the massage and then utilizing her special skill, aromatherapy, and ritual to attain the desired results.

She is great at accommodating pregnant bellies with an assortment of pillows so that a mom can even lay face down as long as she is comfortable. She believes that unborn babies greatly benefit and respond to her relaxing techniques.

The benefits of massage are reflected in the relief of physical discomforts, balance of energy, and improved sleep.



Psychotherapy (Individual, Couple, Family):

Natalie Kennedy has shaped her practice over the last 6 years through education, experience, and a continued search for knowledge. Trained as a Marriage and Family therapist in California, she holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology. Within her practice, she works with issues surrounding depression, postpartum depression, anxiety, relationship stresses, parenting challenges, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. She is also the Costa Rica representative for Postpartum Support International.

Her approach is team oriented focusing on engaging the client on a path towards relief and contentment. Together they create a plan which encompasses theinter-relatedness of the body, mind, and spirit.

Group therapy:

Two special groups have been designed with Clara Shoham to support pregnant women and new mothers. As becoming a mother is the biggest transition in a woman's life, these groups aim to embrace the emotional challenges, role transitions, fear, and anxiety experienced during this process.

Infant Massage:

Come learn the art of infant massage and enjoy a beautiful bonding experience you're your baby! Mariel Madrigal is a certified instructor and trainer with the International Association of Infant Massage since 2001. The massage experience offers both stimulation and relaxation for your baby and for you. Babies who are massaged regularly sleep deeply and have fewer episodes of digestive problems like colic and gas.

The course follows the guidelines established by the International Association of Massage and its founder Vilma McClure.

Doula Services:

What is a Doula? A doula is an experienced emotional support companion who stays with a mother through labor, birth and beyond.

Childbirth Education Class:

Prenatal Women's Group: Professional midwives offer an interactive, nurturing group environment for women to discuss various childbirth education topics such as: birth options, optimal nutrition, natural remedies, labor and birth process, comfort measures and coping skills for labor, informed decision-making, complications and emergencies, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and lactation

Women can openly share there questions, doubts, and fears in a safe and empowering environment. (There is the option to do this group and then attend a few sessions with their partner addressing pertinent topics about the labor process and role of the support partner.)

Couple's Prenatal Education: Similar in topics to the daytime group, this group incorporates the couple for the entire agenda of topics.
